Our role involved the architectural design and technical specification of a single-storey rear extension, introducing a cedar-clad addition to accommodate a new dining area and utility room. The project sought to improve the quality and usability of internal spaces, replacing a previously cramped and under-utilised kitchen-dining arrangement with a more open and functional layout.
The extension has significantly enhanced the day-to-day living experience, introducing improved natural light, visual connection to the garden, and a clearer spatial hierarchy. Clad in natural cedar, the addition offers a contemporary contrast that complements the original building without overpowering it,
