High-performance extension and retrofit
Given an initial brief to enlarge and modernise this family home, we worked with the client to develop a scheme that improves the energy efficiency of their home, calculating a project energy saving of 27%.
Historic barn conversion and renovation
Situated within the curtilage of a listed building, our brief to convert this disused barn to a home gym, bar and games room required us to design creatively but also considerately, specifying natural, breathable materials appropriate to the historically sensitive context.
Passivhaus Class Q barn conversion
Working with two agricultural barns, we negotiated planning permission for a Class Q conversion, adapting the existing structure into a modern home that adheres to the rigorous low-energy standards set out by Passivhaus.
