Spencer Davey

Managing Director

Graduating in 2001 in Building Surveying, Spencer has over 20 years of experience in the industry. He relishes challenges and specialises in the delivery of complicated schemes. Spencer also has a keen interest in building design and sustainability; his is a certified Passive Haus Designer, Certified by the Passivehaus Institut.

In his spare time, he enjoys running, walking and winding his kids up.

Alex Joel

Associate Surveyor

Alex joined Davey Stone Associates in 2017 and has built a broad range of experience in building surveying, project management, and architectural design. He enjoys the variety and problem-solving that comes with the role and takes pride in delivering clear, practical solutions for clients across a range of sectors. He has a strong eye for detail and thrives on seeing projects through from concept to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction at every stage.

Outside of work, Alex is a dedicated cinephile and rarely lets a week go by without a trip to the cinema.

Faisal Herash

Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Faisal is a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a passion for designing functional, impactful spaces. With hands-on experience in both design and project management, they bring a thoughtful, practical approach to every project. Known for their eagerness to learn, collaborative spirit, and commitment to quality, they’re on a strong path toward becoming a fully qualified architect.

Oliver Grant

Part 1 Architectural Assistant

Having completed his Part 1 through the sustainability-focused Architecture programme at Sheffield Hallam, Oliver brings a commitment to environmental design to practice. This has informed Oliver’s continuing studies, undertaking a Masters in Sustainable Architecture at the Centre for Alternative Technology alongside his work. Always keen to get the most out of a site, while putting clients’ needs first, Oliver is a personable, creative, detail-oriented addition to the architectural design team at Davey Stone.

A keen walker and cyclist, if Oliver isn’t roaming the windy moors of the Peak District, he can be found wandering Sheffield’s record shops in search of a bargain!

Jack Rocca

Office Manager & Business Administrator

Jack began his career at Davey Stone Associates as an apprentice and now manages the practice’s administrative and operational functions, ensuring the team can concentrate on the smooth delivery of projects. Outside of work, Jack enjoys playing golf and taking long walks to unwind.
