Loft conversion to create additional bedroom and single-storey rear extension to enhance living space
The client, a Landscape Architect gave a brief to form a single-storey extension rear extension, which allowed for the enjoyment of the garden, and a loft conversion to enhance the living space of a family home in Sheffield, S11. The extension created a larger kitchen and dining area, with expansive glazing that connects the interior to the garden and floods the space with natural light.
The loft conversion added an additional bedroom and bathroom, making the most of the home's space. The dormer is clad in standing seam metal cladding, which contrasts the traditional exisitng building with contemporay material.
We worked with the client from RIBA Stage 1, through concept design, to technical design and Building Regulations compliance.
